East fork is a little different than most OMBC in that there is a ~2mile paved section to complete the lap. After a lot of jostling I managed to lead into the woods. Tried to check out but Cato and Tony were too strong. We kept a good pace through the first lap, and then I managed to again make it into the woods first. Leading most of the way through that lap when I flatted, and at the exact same time Cato crashed out of 3rd. Tony made good use of the opportunity and took off for the win.
